Geetha Ballal.

In her career expanding more than two decades, Geetha co-founded Nritarutya, and has worked with Nritarutya as its Principal dancer, its Administration Director, and lately, as its Events Head. From the beginning, Geetha took on the role of client liaisons, artist management, and event management, along with dancing for the company repertoire.

Geetha is trained in Bharatnatyam, Kathak and kalaripayattu – along with taek-wondo, Kathakali and modern dance. Her performances exude a level of vibrancy and versatility which very few can match.

She has rendered captivating performances for Nritarutya at several international and national platforms.

During her tenure here, she has put in place and streamlined administrative processes of documentation, cataloguing, legalities and finance. She is strongest in finance, yet a dancer at heart. She is based in Bangalore, and her daughter holds the fort of her life.
