Overview
Inspired by the mural art and the Mayan culture, Bodies Have Stories explores the geometry of entanglement, and of being alone. Contact technique echoes through this piece as the artists’ bodies come in contact in unconventional manner, creating illusions, and its own identity, before morphing to another illusion. The bodies are only a part of the whole, and their unison completes the visual, as the stories concealed in their movements are unravelled. A highly visceral movement piece, it leaves everyone feeling that every identity, though unattached, is entwined with us….
